West Bengal school staff ousted by court verdict seek state intervention through protest


Around 200 non-teaching staff, who lost their jobs after a Supreme Court verdict invalidated 25,752 appointments by the West Bengal School Service Commission, staged a protest outside Education Minister Bratya Basu’s residence. They demanded reinstatement and urged state intervention.
