From academia to animal welfare: How Assam’s Prapti Foundation emerged as a force against dog trafficking and cruelty

Based in Golaghat district, it has rescued and supported more than 1,500 animals through medical care, rehabilitation, feeding drives and awareness campaigns. Its shelter, Sarameya Kutir in Rangajan, has rehabilitated 163 rescued dogs.
